Fragrance inspired by Intoxicated by Kilian
In 2014 perfumer Calice Becker unveiled Intoxicated—a scent that bottles the buzz of spiced Turkish coffee.
The idea sprang from Istanbul’s Grand Bazaar: fresh cardamom, dark roast Arabica and a swirl of cinnamon sugar rising from copper cezves.
Intoxicated is an oriental-gourmand unisex fragrance released in 2014. One hit feels like an espresso shot laced with green cardamom and sweet cinnamon—instant, dizzying and delicious.
The opening fizzes with cardamom and nutmeg. The heart accord brews thick Turkish coffee spiked with cinnamon. The dry-down settles into vanilla, caramel and smouldering patchouli.
A crackling spice spark leads quickly into syrupy mocha on warm skin. The finish is a smoky-caramel haze that lingers long after midnight.
Longevity is high: around 9 hours of projection—perfect for cool evenings or decadent nights out.
