Fragrance inspired by Terre d’Hermès
In 2006 perfumer Jean-Claude Ellena crafted Terre d’Hermès—a dialogue between earth and sky, blending bitter citrus brightness with mineral-woody depth.
The idea sprang from sun-drenched Corsican orange groves and sun-baked stones warmed by the mistral wind.
Terre d’Hermès is a woody-spicy masculine fragrance launched in 2006. A sparkling duet of grapefruit and orange meets flint and black pepper, settling into dry vetiver, cedar and benzoin for a rugged mineral trail.
Opening bursts with grapefruit and orange. The Heart hums with flint, black pepper and geranium. The Base anchors with vetiver, cedar, patchouli and benzoin.
First comes a vivid citrus flash, then a mineral-pepper chord, finally a dry woody trail lasting up to 10 hours.
Longevity is high: perfect for office days and outdoor adventures.
