Fragrance inspired by Acqua di Giò by Giorgio Armani
Launched in 1996 by perfumer Alberto Morillas, Acqua di Giò captures the Mediterranean sea breeze rolling over sun-bleached rocks.
Picture Pantelleria: salty spray, fresh-squeezed lime and the scent of pine warmed by the sun.
Acqua di Giò is an aquatic citrus-aromatic fougère. Sparkling bergamot and lime mingle with a marine accord; jasmine, lavender and rosemary form the heart, while cedar, white musk and patchouli create a clean masculine base.
Top notes: bergamot, lime, sea note. Heart notes: jasmine, lavender, rosemary. Base notes: cedar, white musk, patchouli.
The opening is cool and zesty; herbs refresh the skin, drying down to a woody trail that lasts around 6 hours.
Longevity: moderate — perfect for office days, summer travel and everyday freshness.
